Construction

HEA's World Opperations Center...

We continue to work on the construction of the operations center. Our entire staff moved into the housing and the offices in January 2007. We held our first "Leadership with a Purpose" conference there in October and another for the KKC pastors training in December. We are now pouring the drives and parking areas and we are preparing to start the construction of the shops and storage. Once the storage is completed we can move everything out of the student dorms and classrooms. That will allow us to bring in the students and get the Missions school up and running!! If your church would like to plan a mission trip to help us with the construction just email Greg at heamx@cs.com

New Mission Constructions

HEA is constantly reviewing the requests for help with the construction of missions in impoverished areas. Many of these communities are so very poor that without your help they just don't have the resources to build a church on their own.

We have a file of requests for mission constructions that we review every 2 months in our leadership meetings. There are a number of guidelines that we use to determine which ones we will help with. Our own native missionaries have planted 150 new churches throughout the mountains (where our operations center is) in the last seven years alone ...

As you can imagine the needs are great and the resources are limited but we will direct those resources to the most needy areas where they have met all of our guidelines.

Once they qualify, HEA helps them by paying for the cement footings, the columns for the walls, the roof trusses and the sheet metal for the roof. The cost for this is $1,500.00. This puts a roof over their heads but still allows the local believers to work together to provide the wood for the side walls of the church, the windows, doors, benches, etc.

One remote village where we held evangelistic campaigns with our summer mission teams now has a congregation of 90 people. They meet out in an open field under a tree. One of the families who surrendered their lives to Jesus during those summer campaigns had walked from another village that is 4 hours away on the trails. They now walk 4 hours one way every Sunday to be there to meet with the church under the tree. They are also bringing 4 other people with them from their village!!

We have already approved the money for the construction of their new church!! They are all so excited and thankful for your help! These new believers live in board homes with tin roofs and dirt floors and they cook on open wood fires. They have almost nothing but they have so much joy in just knowing Jesus!! HEA is committed to helping these new believers become established in their communities and to help them share their new life in Jesus with others. Just a few years ago they would have never been allowed to build a church at all in their village! God has opened the doors! Jesus said ... we must work while it is still day because soon the night will come when no man can work!

If you, your church or small group would like to help provide a church for one of these very needy missions you can do so by clicking on the donate for mission construction button

Thank you for caring ... thank you for giving ... most of all, thank you for loving Jesus!!
